Today, Nicola Redi and Misal G. Memeo were at Hannover Messe to sign our partnership with the European Investment Fund (EIF).

The EIF is backing Obloo's upcoming #FutureOfComputing Fund with €25M under #InvestEU, channelling institutional capital into the next generation of computational technologies - semiconductors, quantum computing, photonics and other enabling technologies - sourced from Europe's best research institutions.
The goal: bridge the gap between scientific discovery and industrial deployment in the field of computing technologies, supporting the emergence of a new generation of European industrial champions.

Nicola Beer, Vice President of European Investment Bank (EIB), commented: “The strengthened partnership between the EIB Group and Obloo underlines Europe’s determination to maintain technological leadership in critical areas such as AI and quantum computing. Backed by InvestEU, the EIF Group is helping transform world-class research into market-ready innovation, supporting Europe’s digital resilience and strategic autonomy.”

At Obloo, we believe great science needs great venture support to become transformative innovation. Infrastructure is the third element in the equation, and Italy's world-class ecosystem will give our startups direct access to computational power and industrial testbed facilities to power the industrial system of tomorrow.
