One trend in the report stood out beyond the headline numbers: AI deal activity in Italy has built steadily, from 81 transactions in 2021 to 123 in 2025. AI-enabled systems, from software applications down to the computing stack, are becoming a structural feature of the deal flow. The research depth is here, the founding talent is here and the deal flow is building.
